So you have decided that you may finally be thinking about getting a website for your business now that you have procrastinated getting an online presence for so long.

You remember the first time that you justified actually getting a website for your business.  You probably heard yourself say some of the following things:

1. I don’t need a website because I have way too many clients already and don’t want any more clients

2. I don’t need a website because I am a contractor and most of my business is through the broker that I am established with currently.

3. I don’t need a website because I only have a few clients I work with and that is it.

Let’s go over these “justifiable” reasons that you may not want a website..

Starting with Reason#1… I don’t need a website because I have way too many clients already and don’t want any more clients.

answer:  Well clearly if you have way to many clients, then it must have occurred to you that you are short on time.  Every day you go into your business or place of work your phone rings, and guess what? It’s the same question you get almost every single time someone calls you.. Do you see something wrong with this?  The answer is YES.  There is something wrong with traditional time consuming business.  It is almost a capital “DUH” if you decide to get a website for the pure fact of saving you time, which also saves you money and leaves room for you to grow.  How can your website help this process?  Easy! Set up a video or F.A.Q’s page that you can send your current customers too for those tedious and mundane questions. Give them the allowance to fill out a form if necessary, and get back to doing what you are truly good at doing.

Reason #2… I don’t need a website because I have a broker.

answer: Truthfully this one may be a tough one, but the truth is having a website if allowed by your broker brings a huge asset of credibility and knowledge base to their business as well as yours.  If permission is given that you can actually build a subset website within your own clientele, you will show the brokers that you are an expert in your field and getting traffic to your website which in turn gets them more business.

Reason#3… I don’t need a website because I only have a few clients I work with and that’s it.

answer:  If you only have a few clients that you work, don’t you think that they deserve the opportunity to visit your relationship that you have set up with them on a 24hour schedule without talking to you directly?  Don’t you feel like it would be beneficial for both parties if they could just simply visit a forum and discuss new ways to overcome upcoming obstacles in your business niche?  The answer undoubtedly to this question is yes.

The reason I point these things out, is because I have yet to see or hear a real legitimate reason to “Not” have a website if you own a business here in Utah, or anywhere in the United States or the world.. This is the 21st century people. Get on the bandwagon and get started today. Get a good price. Get a good business start online. and Brand yourself the right way!
